That when the goods which need to be shipped overseas reach us, our Physical Inspection Team begins an exhaustive search of them -many times working hand in hand with our clients, partners, and government officials- in order to ensure that every shipment we make has met any and all regulations required for a quick and easy entry in its port of arrival.
This is the key: to reduce the friction and possibilities of the cargo being stopped because of not meeting regulations and specifications when it reaches its destination.
To be more precise, our inspection process includes a thorough physical inspection which includes examining the goods and making sure they are shipped according to the requirements of the customs authorities of the destination country.
Since requirements vary from country to country and from commodity to commodity, our expertise is precisely to secure a compliant import declaration and a secured release process.
To be precise, the step-by-step process includes:
- Reception of the cargo and goods on our Miami Hub.
- Goods and materials search process, including barcode scanning and goods count.
- Examination process, in which the shipment is carefully handled and its contents are checked -both in quality and quantity- against the stated documentation.
- Picture of the goods and records making sure the stated goods and the, including those of labels and power cords outlet original packaging in case they are requested for a non-intrusive Customs Inspection.
- Examination Report: We report to our customer any findings and suggest corrections on documents.
- Re-Packing for International shipping.
Also, for some countries, such as Argentina where used equipment is prohibited from importing, we ensure that the cited equipment is indeed new and there are no test marks or other issues, that may complicate the import process in the future.
